Simple spiced milk recipe that may help with chest pains related to pleurisy and infections
1 cup of milk
1tsp Turmeric
1tsp Ginger
1tsp Cinnamon (to taste)
1tsp - 1 tbsp Honey (to taste)
Turmeric Milk is widely known and used for many to aid many ailments, I'm using it here as it reduce inflammation and pain.
Ginger helps with respiratory problems so is perfect for using for the chest.
I have used cinnamon to help disguise the taste of the turmeric more so than for its medicinal uses however it helps regulate blood sugar.
Honey was recommended to me by my doctor who diagnosed me with pleurisy, I also read that it helps ease coughs and I believe it to help coat the linings of the throat and lungs and stop pain from inflamation.
Please note: This is a self made remedy, if you are on drugs you should continue to take them and not see this as an alternative but as something that may further help you and ease discomfort.
Bright blessings
